First of all, happy new year to each and every one of you. 🥳 2022 was an extremely eventful year for Next Earth, and we’ll do everything in our power to make 2023 even better.
But before we start looking forward, let’s see how we ended last year. It’s safe to say that we went out with a bang. 💣
👉 Marketplace
Our shiny, fully revamped, user-friendly, hyper functional Next Earth Marketplace got released late-December.
New sorting and filtering options await our users in order to make it easier to find/buy/sell land NFTs. The response from our community has been overwhelmingly positive so far, we appreciate both the kind words and the constructive criticism! 🙌
To celebrate our revamped Marketplace, we launched numerous games at the end of December. We gave away thousands of dollars worth of lands and gift cards within the framework of a treasure hunt and bughunt. Keep an eye on our Discord server so you don’t miss these events! 🥳

Our Metaverse Gift Cards were released in November, but following CoinMarketCap, two more platforms listed them:

👉 Next Earth Tier Exclusive Meeting
When we introduced the Next Earth Tier System, we listed “exclusive, round table discussions” as one of the perks of being in a high tier.
The first Tier Exclusive Meeting took place on the 21st of December, for which only Tier 1–4 users received the YouTube link, while Tier 1–2 users could join the discussion live and talk with Gabor and David.
The livestream was a huge success. Some minor tweaking/improvements must be done, but expect more of this in the future.
👉 Event Horizon aftermath
Lastly, allow us to share some data with you about the results of our Event Horizon initiatives. The number of registered users on Next Earth grew by more than 5000 since the launch of Event Horizon and our marketing activities. The Land Gift Card was one of the hottest web3 Christmas present this season, with more than 6000 gift cards sold in total until now.
We experienced overwhelming interest in our freshly launched Ambassador program and Accelerator program:
- Until now more than 30 startups applied to the Accelerator program.
- And more than 150 people submitted their application for our Ambassador program.
We shifted gears in our PR and media communication during the last weeks of 2022 and we managed to secure valuable coverage in leading media outlets, below you can see some of the results (little spoiler for 2023: you can expect much more of these in the following months).
