Grammys 2024 Winner List (SZA, boygenius, Paramore, Chris Stapleton, Jason Isbell, Killer Mike, more)


The 2024 Grammy Awards are officially underway. As usual, the majority of the awards are being given out during the afternoon Premiere Ceremony, which is streaming live. The main award ceremony will follow at 8 PM ET / 5 PM PT on CBS.

SZA is the most nominated artist of the night, and she already picked up her first win, Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for “Ghost in the Machine” ft. Phoebe Bridgers. For Phoebe, it’s her first Grammy win (she’s also nominated six times toight as part of boygenius).

boygenius won their first Grammys, Best Rock Performance and Best Rock Song for “Not Strong Enough,” and Best Alternative Music Album for The Record.

Peso Pluma was nominated for his first Grammy this year, Best Música Mexicana Album (Including Tejano) for GÉNESIS, and won, beating Ana Bárbara, Lila Downs, Flor de Toloache, and Lupita Infante.

Fred again.. also won his first Grammy, Best Dance/Electronic Recording for “Rumble” with Skrillex and Flowdan (it was his first Grammy, as well). Fred also won Best Dance/Electronic Music Album for Actual Life 3 (January 1 – September 9 2022).

The Barbie sountrack won its first Grammy, for Best Compilation Soundtrack for Visual Media, but Oppenheimer and composer Ludwig Göransson took the Grammy for Best Score Soundtrack For Visual Media. Billie Eilish also won her first Grammy of the night, for Best Song Written for for Visual Media for her “What Was I Made For?”

David Bowie documentary Moonage Daydream won Best Music Film, beating How I’m Feeling Now, Live From Paris, The Big Steppers Tour, I Am Everything, and Dear Mama.

Chris Stapleton won Best Country Solo Performance and Best Country Song for “White Horse.”

Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit won Best American Roots Song for “Cast Iron Skillet,” and Best Americana Album for Weathervanes.

Killer Mike won Best Rap Album for MICHAEL, and Best Rap Performance and Best Rap Song for “Scientists & Engineers,” with André 3000, Future, and Eryn Allen Kane.

2024 is the first year for the Best African Music Performance category, and Tyla won for “Water.”

Another new category for 2024 is Best Alternative Jazz Album, which Meshell Ndegeocello won for The Omnichord Real Book.

Paramore won their first Grammys: Best Rock Album and Best Alternative Music Performance for This Is Why.

Metallica won Best Metal Performance for 72 Seasons.

Joni Mitchell, who will perform at tonight’s ceremony for the first time, won Best Folk Album for Joni Mitchell at Newport.
